Christmas Special

HO HO HO!

As we all know, Christmas is coming soon and Santa Claus is coming to town!

To celebrate this, MY Art Studio Kota Damamsara Branch is organizing a Christmas Craft Party on 20/12/15 (Sunday) and everyone is welcomed to join us! Fee for this party will be RM50 for each participant. This party will start with registration where door gift with snacks will be given to each participants. Then we will move on to the making of the reindeer craft and lastly we will play games and have a photography session.

Other than that, we will also be celebrating Christmas by making snowman ornament during classes where existing students get to join for FREE while non existing students only need to pay RM20 to join us. Classes available are:

1. Wednesday 8.00-10.00pm
2. Thursday 8.00-10.00pm
3. Friday 4.00-6.00pm // 6.00-8.00pm
4. Saturday 10.00-12.00pm // 1.00-3.00pm // 5.00-7.00pm
5. Sunday 10.00-12.00pm // 1.00-3.00pm

School Holiday Program Updates

Good Day everyone!

2 weeks has passed and that means our school holiday program has finally ended!

MY Art Studio, Kota Damansara Branch is proud to say that we have succeed in this program because we manage to have more than 20 participants to join us in this program and at the same time, we had lots of fun making the mini clay figures.

The program started by introducing the topic to the participants. Videos, pictures and story were shown and told to ensure that they are familiar with the topic that they are going to be working on during the program. As expected, the participants are very much familiar with the superheroes and frozen characters because that's the cartoon that they are interested in.

Moving on, we gave the participants a briefing on how to handle the clay and what are the things they should and should not do to ensure that their mini clay figures are in good shape. Mixture of colour and ways to make the shapes are some of the example.

Next, participants chose the first character that they love the most and start making it out. From choosing the ones that are showed in our sample to the ones that are different, the process was although challenging but seeing the end products, it's all worth it.

Before moving on to the next part, we had our delicious lunch and tea time to give ourselves a break and be relaxed while charging the energy in us.

After giving our energy a charge, we now continue in making the background for the mini clay figures. The participants started by drawing their idea background and give the background a interesting story. From robbery to shopping, different kind of story were thought by the participants.

Lastly, we are finally done with our mini clay figure making!
